unfortunately the "big three" and their many suppliers represent the last vestige of serious manufacturing in this country and our neighbors down south....if they go bankrupt and their tooling is sold off to china we'll have nothing left to build the green future so many might like to see.... a bailout/takeover with some serious conditions are probably our best shot at not being totally fucked insofar as we'll be able to maintain a remnant of the industrial way of life many of have come to take for granted.....
