"You know, this land is important to us, especially the people who harvest off this territory," said Matchewan. "Because right now they're destroying a huge moose habitat, bear dens, sacred sites. They don't care about the stuff that is out there, our medicine.
"They're just going in to destroy it, and it's devastating. It's hard on the community. Seeing that their children's future is being destroyed, and when the land is destroyed, we're destroyed.
"Our identity is in danger."
