The Eagleridge Bluffs near Horseshoe Bay are one casualty of the 2010 Olympics. Elder Harriet Nahanee, a Pacheedaht (from the Nuu-Chah-Nulth) woman, died of pneumonia after having been imprisoned for trying to protect the area.
