The Dominion is a monthly paper published by an incipient network of independent journalists in Canada. It aims to provide accurate, critical coverage that is accountable to its readers and the subjects it tackles. Taking its name from Canada's official status as both a colony and a colonial force, the Dominion examines politics, culture and daily life with a view to understanding the exercise of power.
Hey Katie: You are doing
Hey Katie: You are doing great and rare things. As a retired prof at MUN of Women's Studies and Biology I know feminist cartoonists are very rare and much appreciated, if by a few. Women labour cartoonists are also rare but for that subject the audience is bigger, better funded and I imagine holds future prospects. Then there is the environment - obviously an area of growing public concern. Saw your work in the Tar Sands special of The Dominion, and heard you on our Weekend Arts Magazine, CBC's WAM. Let me know if I can help. All the very best for this season in Mabou (lovely place) and have a good year. Take care. Joan
