Smokey Mountain
I really wouldn't have thought a visit to Smokey Mountain would have affected me so much. Look into a compost bin, then think about babies being born there and living and growing up there. That's what we saw at Smokey with Sr Constance. It's inhumane and no one should have to live like that. And the Mall of Asia is less than 10 minutes away. It makes you realise that tax dollars do provide a lot of necessary services, like roads, water, electricity, fair wages, hospitals and social services.
